We welcome guests with a legally verified age of at least 21 years old. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult.

Is there parking available on property?
Yes, complimentary self-parking is available for all guests of The Inn at Middleton Place.

How long is the drive from the airport?
Charleston International Airport (CHS) is about 16 miles from The Inn, which is about a 25-40 minute drive.

How much does it cost to park my vehicle?
Parking is included with your overnight stay and is provided at no additional cost.

Where can I park my oversized vehicle?
Our guests parking provides ample space for oversized vehicles. Kindly check in with the front desk for additional details.

Do I need my own transportation?
We recommend that guests have their own transportation during their stay. Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft can vary in availability due to our serene location.

What is the layout of the Inn property?
The Inn is an outdoor focused property split into four separate buildings, each with multiple towers.

How many floors does your hotel have?
Each of the four buildings at The Inn features two floors. Kindly note that all accommodations on the second floor are accessible via stairs only.

Is The Inn located on the same property as Middleton Place?
The Inn is located adjacent to Middleton Place Historic Landmark. While there is no shared vehicular access, there is a scenic walking path that is approximately 10-15 minutes that will lead guests to the Middleton Place Gardens.

How far of a drive is Middleton Place from The Inn?
The drive from The Inn to Middleton Place Historical Landmark is about 2 minutes via Hwy 61 to the main entrance and visitor area.

As an overnight guest of The Inn at Middleton Place, do I receive access to Middleton Place?
Yes, all overnight guests receive General Admission to Middleton Place throughout the duration of their stay. For more information about its history, visit here to learn more.

Are guided tours available at Middleton Place?
Middleton Place offers a variety of guided tours and interpretive experiences, providing deeper insight into its history, gardens, and cultural significance.

Do tours require reservations?
The Guided Garden Tours, Meet the Heritage Breeds Tours, and Beyond the Fields program are included with General Admission. Some tours and experiences may require advance reservations and are subject to availability. Kindly note that all tour times are subject to change. We advise all guests check the daily schedule at the Visitors Center upon arrival.

Are there any walking areas on property?
Guests are welcome to stroll along the 65 acres of trails throughout Middleton Place Gardens.

Does your hotel have a pool?
The Inn has a seasonal pool, open to guests to relax and refresh during operational hours.

What are the dining options at The Inn?
The Lakehouse, located on The Inn property, serves breakfast daily from 7:30AM - 9:30 AM.
The Restaurant at Middleton Place serves lunch on Monday - Saturday from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM and dinner is served from 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM from Tuesday through Saturday. On Sundays, brunch is served from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Kindly note that General Admission tickets to Middleton Place, which are included with your stay, are required for lunch and brunch services; reservations are not required. Dinner service does not require General Admission tickets but do require reservations. Guests may reserve their dinner through Resy or our front desk team at 843.556.0500.
The Lodge, located in the 100 building at The Inn, is open daily from 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM, serving a welcome charcuterie board from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM and a night cap from 8:30 PM - 9:30 PM.

Yes, children are welcome to dine at all outlets.

Is there Wi-Fi at The Inn?
All overnight guests receive complimentary Wi-Fi at The Inn at Middleton Place.

Do all accommodations come with two beds?
All accommodations come with either one Queen or one King bed. For guests needing additional sleeping space, we offer a limited number of Grand Rooms that include a pullout sofa.

Are accessible guest rooms available?
Yes, accessible guest rooms are available. We feature (4) ADA accessible guest rooms at The Inn. Visit here for more information.

Do all rooms have a wood burning fireplace?
Yes, all accommodations include a seasonal woodburning fireplace. Firewood is stocked in all rooms as well as in the courtyard outside of the rooms.

What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy varies depending on the package booked and will be outlined within both the booking engine and your confirmation email.

Do you allow smoking
All accommodations are non-smoking. A cleaning fee of ($250.00) will be assessed in the event of a violation.

Are pets allowed at your hotel?
The Inn is a pet-free hotel, with the exception of service animals.

Do you have a business center?
Our front desk offers printing services upon request. All guests receive complimentary Wi-Fi.
